Bilateral meeting between HIPO and GDIP
On 1 September, a successful bilateral meeting took place in Tirana between the General Directorate of Industrial Property of the Republic of Albania (GDIP) and the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO), led by Ms. Maria Solis, Director General of GDIP, and Mr. Szabolcs Farkas, President of HIPO.
The bilateral meeting provided an excellent opportunity to reaffirm the recently renewed Memorandum of Understanding and to engage in valuable discussions on the well-though-out IP medium-term strategic goals and current initiatives of our offices in the field of intellectual property.
During the meeting, the participants engaged in open dialogue on institutional matters, exchange of experiences, reviewed current developments and explored further continued collaboration. It also addressed the role of national outreach activities in promoting innovation and IP awareness, as well as the growing relevance of digital transformation in the field of IP.
As part of the programme, the delegation of GDIP kindly guided us through their facilities and offered a glimpse of Tirana’s rich cultural heritage.
We are sincerely grateful for the fruitful visit organized by our Albanian colleagues. The exchange contributed to further enhancing our already excellent cooperation and reinforced our shared commitment to continued partnership.
